TURF - Synthèse de la Presse: A Mobile App for Quinté+ Predictions
TURF is a free Android app developed by Data Diffusion Service that provides daily Quinté+ predictions from 31 French newspapers. Apart from offering each selection, TURF also constructs a synthesis of all predictions using a specific counting algorithm. Users can personalize their prediction by eliminating specific newspapers from the list. The app keeps track of user preferences and retains them for future use. The software generates a unique prediction based on the synthesis of the selected press. The algorithm counts the redundancy of horses chosen by the press and the established order of preference. After the Quinté+ result is out, the app highlights the winning types of bets. The app requires an internet connection, and the historical record of games is stored for future reference.
